In order to enhance the practical knowledge, stimulation and the students to have an overview on the activity related to operations, Humanities and Sciences Department has organized an industrial visit to AKSHAYA PATRA FOUNDATION, Hyderabad on 25.11.2021 The Akshaya Patra Foundation is an NGO in India headquartered in Bangalore. It is a non-profit organization that runs School Lunch Programme across India. . It strives to eliminate classroom hunger by implementing the Mid-Day Meal Scheme in Government schools and Government-aided schools. It also aims at countering malnutrition and supporting the right to education of socio-economically disadvantaged children. The Hyderabad office is at Kandi, Sangareddy Dist. Telangana

• All the I B. TechStudents have participated in online “National Science Day” on 28, 2021.
• JBREC has conducted FDP on “EFFECTIVE ENGLISH COMMUNICATION SKILLS” (EECS) for faculty during the academic year 2019-2020 from 6^thAug – Aug.13, 2020.
• Online Group Discussion is conducted for all the B. Tech students on “Independence Day” on Aug.13, 2020- Aug.14, 2020.
• JBREC has conducted “EFFECTIVE ENGLISH COMMUNICATION SKILLS” (EECS) program for students during the academic year 2019-2020 from Sep.16 – Sep. 21, 2019.
• All the I B. Tech Students have participated in “National Science Day” on Feb. 28,2018.
• Students have participated in “National Voters Day” on Jan.25, 2018.
• “Awareness programme on E-waste management” conducted for all B. Tech students on Nov. 1,2017.
• Women’s’ Day celebrations – organized on Mar.8, 2017 by conducting a Debate Competition and Elocution Competition.
• Department celebrated the National Science Day on 28, 2017 and organized various events such as Science Quiz, Poster Presentation, Elocution Competition, Debate Competition, Extempore Competition.
• National Youth Day was celebrated on Jan.12, 2017 on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda Birthday.
• ‘Swachh Bharath” cleanliness campaign was conducted in the college on Oct.31,2016.
• Eco-friendly Ganesha – organized during Ganesh Navratri 2016.
• All the I B. Tech students have participated in “Haritha Haram” Tree Plantation Program on 21,2015.
• Students have participated in “Sraddha” a grand youth festival conducted by Vivekananda Institute of Technology on “Freshers- 2015” organized by Radio Mirchi on 6, 2015 in the college campus.
• All 1^st year students attended a Programme on “Human Excellence for Engineering Students’ on 10, 2015 at Ramakrishna Mutt.
• Faculty Development Programme on “Communication Skills” conducted by V. Chandra Sekhar Rao, Senior Faculty of English, H&S Dept. during 3rd Dec.to 6^th 2013.
