To provide a strong foundation for engineering students in Science and Humanities subjects so as to help them excel in their chosen fields of engineering and become globally competitive.

M1: To impart knowledge and application of basic sciences and their linkages to engineering branches so as to instill in the students a natural flair for engineering and technology.
