Dr.Dasari.Govardhan obtained his B.E. (Mechanical), M.E. (Turbomachinery) from the University College of Engineering (Autonomous), Osmania University, and completed Ph.D (Mechanical) from the University College of Engineering (Autonomous), Osmania University. He has put up 4+ years of industrial experience and 14 years of teaching, research, and administrative experience. He has handled responsible managerial positions in various engineering colleges like Vice-Principal, Head-Department of Mech Engg, M.Tech Course co-ordinator, and Academic Committee member.  He has also worked as Assoc. Professor in various engineering colleges in Telangana state.  He is Head, Dept. of Mechanical Engg at Joginpally B R Engineering College.

He has published many technical papers in National and International Journals and conferences. He has also delivered invited talks in various engineering colleges on different topics in mechanical engineering. His areas of interest include Engineering Mechanics, Design, Heat Transfer, Turbo machinery.

• Best Paper Award with Cash Prize for a technical paper presented at National Conference–NCNTE-08 held at Fr.Rodrigues Engineering College, Vashi, Navi Mumbai, India.
• He published 19 International & National reputed Journals & 4 International & National Conference papers.
• Chair person in many seminars, conferences & workshops organized for both students and Faculty.
• Working as a Reviewer for journals like Journal of The Institution of Engineers (India), Journal of Thermal Engineering.
• Worked as Member of Expert committee/ Advisory board for several international conferences / seminars.
