Dr. Ch. Rami Reddy, has 9+ years of experience in Teaching, Research and Administration. He obtained B. Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, M. Tech in Electrical Machines and Drives from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada in 2011 and 2014 respectively. He obtained PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from K. L. University, Guntur, India. He did Post Doctoral Fellowship in Micro Grids from the National Institute of Technology, Srinagar. Before joining JBREC in December 2022, He served as Associate Professor in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Malla Reddy Engineering College, Secunderabad from February 2021 to December 2022. In previous he served as Asst. Prof in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Nalanda Institute of Engineering and Technology (2014-2020), Guntur.

He is currently guiding 5 PhD scholars and guided 35 M. Tech students in their academic projects. He published 70+ publications in various SCI, Scopus indexed Journals and International Conferences. He wrote a book on “Power System Operation and Control”. He is a member of professional bodies like MIEEE and MISTE. He has good experience in organizing university programs and other outreach events that help promote learning and support the community. Currently, he is serving as a Guest Editor for a Special issue titled “Advancement in Renewable Energy Technologies and Smart Grid”, Energies-MDPI, SCI (3.1 Impact Factor) journal. He is the Editorial Board Member of various Journals & Reviewer for IEEE, IET and various SCI, Scopus indexed Journals. His research areas include Smart Grids, Distributed Generation, Electrical Drives and Power Converters Applications to Energy Systems
