Student Activity Centre

In any traditional or modern approaches, the educational system is between mentor and student. As the Institutes primarily focus on the Teaching & Learning process, there require some additional motivation to the students to meet the standards of Industry as well as the society.

By following certain specific approaches, JBREC facilitates better opportunities to the students for conducting Curricular and co-curricular activities. In this regard a separate Student Activity Center (SAC) is established and handled by students, which provides an excellent Opportunity and awareness to the students.

The following are the activities handled by the students during each semester at the Student Activity Centre (SAC):

Communication Club:

This club facilitates and inculcates the habit of English reading which will enhance the communication skills. This club will motivate the students to get habituated to read some good English Novels or magazines etc.

General Quiz Club:

This Club conducts General Knowledge Quiz Competitions for the entire college during the National Tech Fests, Annual Day Competitions, Hostel Day Celebrations, etc. This is a monthly event.

Campus to Corporate:

This is an initiative taken up by the students for campus selection process which is replicated in the form of a competition. This event is conducted twice a year. This consists of a Screening test, Group Discussion round & a HR round.

Art Mart:

This club brings out the hidden talent of the student in the areas of painting, printing, drawing, model building, and sculpting. This is an early event.

This club presents a news bulletin every fortnight to apprise of the events in the fields of Science & Technology, Sports, Economy, national and International news that made headlines in that particular period.

Green Club:

The activities of this club mainly focuses on environmental awareness and improvement of environment such as upliftment and conservation of trees and makes people aware of environmental problems such as deforestation, land degradation, water pollution, and global warming caused by thoughtless greed’s of humans.
