The JBREC Alumni Association was established in the year 2007 with name SPHOORTI. It is literally an inspiration for junior students in terms of fixing their targets and preparing to reach their targets. The members of college administration and the senior faculty of all the departments participate in the annual or semi-annual alumni meetings on invitation and seek their advice and support for the development of the institution. Since then, the Association has been involving itself in strengthening its activities through conducting periodic meetings in and outside the Institute. The Alumni of all Engineering Departments of the Institute have been visiting the Institute and guiding the undergraduate students in carving their careers in a better way. All the Engineering Departments of the Institute have specially appointed Dean – Alumni,Faculty Members as Alumni Coordinators and student coordinators from each department
Monthly meetings are held to keep track of the Alumni Activities of respective Departments. The students are extended with the data of the Alumni and encouraged to interact with them time and again. Institute level Alumni meets have been organized and department level Alumni interactions are being held periodically.The annual Alumni Reunion Meet is being held during the month of December every year in the name of “SPHOORTY”.

• To help in various new technologies and better placements with current students.
• To participate in activities contributing to improvement of infrastructure & Academic activities of JBREC.
• To communicate the activities of the institution and alumni.
• To network with other similar organizations or societies and industry for the furtherance of education and training.

• To emerge as one of the most influencing Alumni Association by way of maintaining regular interactions with the Institute and engaging in mentoring the students, contributing to the growth of the Institute.

• To organize periodic Alumni Reunion meets
• To hold regular mentoring sessions to the students
• To encourage the Alumni of the Institute in overall development of the students
• To establish a strong liaison between the students and the Alumni of the Institute
