Innovation Ecosystem & EDC


The institution has initiated many measures in promoting research activities and created an ecosystem for innovation through centers like incubation and other promotional cells/committees. The institute has a dedicated Research and Development Cell which aims at nurturing research culture in the College by promoting research activities. It encourages the faculty and also the students to undertake the research in newly emerging frontier areas of Engineering, Technology, Science and Humanities including multidisciplinary fields. This is promoted through enhancing the general research capability by way of participating in conferences, seminars, workshops, project competitions, Training programs etc. Further, in order to promote research and development activities, the college extends its full support to students/ faculty/ staff; Full/Partial financial support is extended to all innovative research & development works taken up by the students, faculty and staff members. The institution has a Research and Development Committee in addition to state of art technology laboratories, Incubation centre facilities to encourage and monitor research activities.



The EDC has been established with the financial assistance of The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The EDC team aims at working as Catalysts, Organizers, Promoters and Integrators for the overall development of entrepreneurial skills and abilities among the participants in their programs.


The Entrepreneurs Cell was formed by students and some Professors of JBREC with the mission of promoting the culture of entrepreneurship within the campus of JBREC in August, 2017. Since then the Cell has launched several initiatives for budding entrepreneurs in JBREC.


To provide highly pro-active,workaholic,students as entrepreneur to the society and satisfy needs of the market and fulfilling the dreams of aspirants.
The Entrepreneurship Cell, JBREC firmly believes that emerging economies like India need the drive and innovation of young entrepreneurs. The Cell therefore aims at manifesting the latent Entrepreneurial spirit of the youth. The Cell not only motivates the youth to start-up their own enterprise, but also makes efforts to provide them with the necessary resources to do so.
The prime Motto is to create a platform for entrepreneur aspirants, explain the provisions to explore their ideas making them aware of moral and financial suppliers available in the market.


As EDC's is presently just a part of Institutions. Sincere dedication and hard work further success should turn it as heart of the Institutions.


The main objective of this cell is to train and motivate the Science and Technology (S&T) persons to become Job Creators rather than Job Seekers.

    • Entrepreneurship Development Programs (EDP)
    • Faculty Development programs (FDP)
    • Skill development programs (SDP)
    For the S &T persons of our college as well as students from neighboring institutions.
  3. To assist them in starting industries of their own right from
    • Product Identification (PI)
    • Market Survey, tools for market research
    • Preparation of Project Reports
    • Assist them in getting Technical feasibility Report
  4. Consultancy and research.
  5. Create awareness on Entrepreneurship among the students through training programmes and camps.
  6. To identify and motivate budding entrepreneurs.
  7. To facilitate budding entrepreneurs by providing information on Entrepreneurial opportunities.
  8. To create data base and networking to help entrepreneurs.
  9. To assist entrepreneurs in product development.
