Master of Business Administration - MBA

MBA offered at Joginpally B. R. Engineering was established in the year 2006-2007. The Department of MBA offers 2-year (4 Semesters) Programme approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH). The Specializations offered include Finance, Marketing and HRM. The intake for MBA programme is 60 students for every year. The faculty of the department is filled with eminent and experienced personalities with the motive of the overall development of the students. The department organizes seminars, workshops and faculty development programs. The pedagogy of Department of MBA includes case study method, group discussion and role plays etc. The primary objective of the Department is to develop the business leaders by offering and imparting appropriate knowledge, skills, attitude and aptitude in the areas of modern business management. Ten (10) batches of students have graduated so far and many of them were well placed in different companies.

M1: To mentor the students to transform and advance in managerial and administrative practices.
M2: To encourage entrepreneurial skills through brainstorming, cases studies and research work that augment organization performance.
M3: To formulate a tenacious research and teaching atmosphere that responds dynamically to the contemporary issues and obtains managerial solutions.

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

PEO1:To create the students as effective professionals by solving real problems through the use of management science/practices knowledge, critical thinking, analytically reasoning and resolve problems.

PEO2:To develop professional skills that prepares students for immediate employment and provide demonstrate knowledge in the functional areas of business.

PEO3:To acquire an ability to operate in dynamic and complex domestic and global organizational environments.

PEO4: To provide with an educational foundation that prepares the students should communicate effectively and to approach organizational decisions in ethical, legal and socially accountable manner

Program Outcomes (Pos)

Ability to:

  • Apply conceptual business foundations to solve practical decision-making problems, both individually and as part of teams using techniques such as case analysis, projects and assignments .
  • identify, formulate, review research literature and analyze complex management problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of management.
  • Design solutions for management/entrepreneurial/economy problems and to develop a systematic understanding of globalization and its impact on people, business and the economy.

  • An ability to analyze a problem, analyze a problem, formulate and use the appropriate managerial skills for obtaining its solution.

    PSO-1: Identify the key issues facing a business or business subdivisions, utilize qualitative and quantitative methods to explore and solve critical business problems(Problems solvers).

    PSO-2: Incorporate diversity and multicultural perspectives while making business decisions (Decision makers).

    PSO-3: The ability to employ modern System application Programs, environments, and platforms in creating innovative career paths to be an entrepreneur, and a zest for higher studies(Risk takers).

    Head of the Department:

    Dr. Nagakrishna Pusuluri is currently working as a Professor & HOD, Department of MBA, Joginpally B. R. Engineering College, Bhaskar Nagar, Yenkapally,  Moinabad Mandal, R.R. District, Hyderabad, Telangana state, India. He received his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D), Master of Philosophy (M. Phil), Master of Business Administration (HR and MARKETING) from Acharya  Nagarjuna University, Guntur and Bachelor Degree in Science(B. Sc) from Osmania University, Hyderabad and Gold medallist in Intermediate . He was qualified in UGC NET (Management) in 2013. He has over 12 years of experience in teaching, research and industry in the area of HRM, Marketing and General Management. He has published 20 Research papers in UGC listed, ABDC listed and SCOPUS index Journals, attended and presented 18 papers in national seminars and international conferences. He delivered 2 invited lectures and attended 8 FDP and work shop programmes. He conducted two national seminar and two international conference as a coordinator. He has authored two text book. He posses experience in SAP R/3 ECC 6.0 (HCM) and IBM SPSS. He is Member of  Hyderabad Management Association (HMA). He is a registered research supervisor for  Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, Karnataka.

    • LIBRARY:

      The college library has over 2000 books relating to various fields in Management, from different publishers and by different authors, which gives huge scope for the students to develop their knowledge. The library also gets a wide range of Biz-journals and Magazines. Books of General Interest and Dictionaries for various disciplines are also made available for instant reference.


      The college has a spacious air-conditioned computer lab with adequate systems. The systems are provided with UNIX and Windows operating systems with networking facilities. Software installed in computers are not only pertaining to the syllabus but also relating to the latest Statistical, Financial and Operations Research packages which are made available to the students to facilitate them for analysis of the Project works they undertake. In addition to this The Department is having Communication Lab with Advanced Software’s for English and Soft Skills Development

      • We organized 10 days industrial tour to visit many industries which is very eminent in manufacturing area which are situated in and around Delhi &Gorgon, by this visit students had gained real time experience.
      • We organized an industrial visit to BHEL for students to impart their knowledge in various areas of management.
      • We organized a visit to Khadi Gramin village to encourage the students in the area of entrepreneurship especially in small scale industries development.
      • WE also organized an industrial visit to METRO for students to impart their knowledge in various areas of management especially in Marketing.
      • A seminar on FINANCIAL EDUCATION for young students’ workshop by Mr. N.HARI PRASAD had conducted to provide awareness about the importance of financial planning and different financial products TECHNICAL EVENTS: We have conducted many seminars and workshops in the academic year of 2010-2011 some of them are listed out
